Vegan Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Mash the black beans in a bowl until mostly smooth.
  2. Add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, and chili powder. Mix well.
  3. Form into patties. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook patties until browned on both sides.
  4. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
