Ingredients:
- 1 pound squid rings and tentacles
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the squid in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Fry the squid in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
